If so, then Randy Cook has a wide variety of truth from which to draw his stories. He's been a Marine Corps Scout/Sniper, a stand-up comic, a professional bodyguard, a Shakespearean actor and most recently, a ridiculously overpaid computer hacker. He's also as Irish as a cool Guinness in a hot pub on St. Pat's Day.
His professional career began in radio where he was known for off-beat, elaborate comedy routines using a variety of character voices. During his time in radio, he wrote and produced a highly-rated syndicated news program and won several awards for commercials he'd written.
He's had six books published in the completely unfunny and non-fictional field of Information Technology. Despite the technical nature of the books, he managed to include quite a bit of humor making them very popular among computer professionals.
